We use Graham’s Concrete and Holcim mixes for proven quality that are designed to last.

Finishing & Maintenance

There are many concrete finishing options to choose from, a plain slab with a seamless finish is usually all that’s required for construction projects. However, for patios, paths, interior flooring and any feature element, either interior or exterior, having the concrete coated, sealed or polished completes the look while adding a stylish design element.

When it comes to keeping the concrete in great condition for the long term, we are happy to provide maintenance services as required, for:

  • Concrete touch ups
  • Sealing cracks
  • Bringing back the shine
  • Repairing chips & breaks

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I maintain a concrete slab once the job is done?

It takes about 7 days for a slab to dry, during that time it’s best to keep it wet to prevent cracking. Spray the slab with water every day for that period of time and do not put any weight on the surface. Keep all people and vehicles off the slab until after the first week is up.

  • What can concrete be used for?

Concrete is a very versatile construction material, used for building foundations, structural support, driveways, walk ways, patios, pool decks, and so much more. Because of its strength and durability, concrete is ideal for many applications.

  • Is it ok if it rains on new concrete?

If concrete is less than 4 hours old, it should be kept protected from rain. Cover the surface if you think it might rain. However, after this period of time, the rain will not cause any damage to the concrete, as long as water doesn’t pool on the surface of the slab.
